Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages.   Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in this edit to K Club. Inappropriate links include links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that serve as advertising or promotion. Thank you.   This is your last warning; the next time you use Wikipedia for soapboxing, promotion or advertising, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. JNW (talk) 14:11, 9 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest policy and notability guidelines. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Request reason:

i have accidently blocked myself while trying to update The K Club page as it is incorrect not to sure how to edit the pages or why it was saying it was promotional material as it was factual information based

Decline reason:

Your only edits are to the K-Club article. When you saw the messages and warnings here, you did not change your editing pattern or question what you may have been doing wrong - you pressed on with your edits. The other concern is that the edits were entirely promotional - you weren't saying, for example, that the K-Club has "a 69-room hotel located on the 550 acre property", but rather "The K Club boasts 69-room, a grand Irish country retreat, set amid 550-acres of pristine parkland on a mile long private stretch of the River Liffey." (per this diff). It reads as if it were advertising, and that is inappropriate. When you ignored the warnings about this problem, you were properly blocked. If you wish to be unblocked, you need to show that you understand the problem and will abide by our rules. You may also wish to review our guide to appealing blocks for more information. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
