I'm very sorry, but your rewrite is still very similar to the original. For example, I've taken the first couple of sentences from the source and the corresponding text for the article and highlighted the exact duplication.

This highlighting may make the problem more obvious. The new version uses all of the words from the original except two - "experimental" and "it". It uses them in the same order with just a few additions and some superficial changes. While facts are not copyrightable, creative elements of presentation – including both structure and language – are. Content on Wikipedia that is based on copyrighted sources must in almost all cases be put into your own words and structure, except for limited explicit quotation used for valid "fair use" reasons. I wish I could help you rewrite the material, but I have limited ability to do so with so little information there and without more understanding myself of what FreeNOS is. For a layman, I'm afraid the article is not very informative as it is.
