Lincoln University, PA

edit
There are plenty of poor-quality articles on Wikipedia, and pointing them out does not pardon a given article from its own shortcomings. If inspiration strikes me, I will give the same treatment to the pages you mentioned. For now, Lincoln University has drawn my attention, and I intend to make sure that it is encyclopedic. Lincoln University has its own web site, and it does a perfectly good job of advertising; it does not need Wikipedia's help. --JerryOrr 16:31, 29 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Manuel Rivero Hall

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Manuel Rivero Hall, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.lincoln.edu/vtour/RIVERO.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 13:16, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Manuel Rivero Hall

edit

A tag has been placed on Manuel Rivero Hall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. —— Ryant | c 13:16, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unreferenced BLPs

edit

Hello Njlincolnlion! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 13 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Wayne A. Cauthen - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Commonwealth System of Higher Education, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Coatesville (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
