Hi, Nlb329. I'm providing online support for your class at Amherst and I had a few comments on the article you wrote:

• If you like, you can update the references on the page to use inline citations. This is actually much easier than it looks, especially since you've already done the hard work of tracking down all the references already. Take a look at this page to see how you can use author-date citations inline. It's possible to simply insert the citations you have now into the reference tags, e.g. <ref>pg. 196 Moving Picture World, Jan - Mar 1915</ref>. Basically the references you have in parentheses now can be placed in reference tags (no extra work required!)
• "Ruth Ann Baldwin was born in 1886 in West Suffield..." I would just write "She was born in..." (as the previous sentence makes clear who "she" would refer to)
• "’49-‘17 In 1917, Baldwin begun work on writing and directing..." Was it your intention to have ’49-‘17 be a section title? If so you can just place ===’49-‘17=== in a line above your current paragraph. Otherwise I'd recommend starting the sentence with "In 1917..."
