There has been some talk of making a page specifically about baking bread which could encompass a lot of processes and equipment which don't have enough material to stand on their own but really belong as part of a larger page. This page will likely merge several pages (baking, proofing, lamé, quick bread) but eventually end up as baking bread.--Nleamy 03:32, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Prior to seeing your draft, Nathan, I had begun work on a similar page. Since my thoughts go in slightly different directions, I am working on a revision of your work here.
