The article Northern Michigan Anime Convention has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. • Nope. Organizations need to have been recognized as notable (see WP:ORG) by reliable independent sources (see WP:V). Your organization is two months old and hasn't actually had a convention yet, so it is unlikely to meet those guidelines (and the article didn't assert that it did). It's not enough that you think the convention is important or unusual. Also, because you're the promoter of the convention, you shouldn't be writing the article about it. See WP:COI.
