Talk page comment
editI saw you wrote this. Can I help clear up some confusion for you? Sergecross73 msg me 02:20, 19 October 2021 (UTC)
Yes Noahbecksleftab (talk) 11:20, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- Okay. What part are you confused about? Sergecross73 msg me 11:22, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
Everything, like why did you block that user? Noahbecksleftab (talk) 12:04, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- They repeatedly broke our rules related to not using sources when they add content (WP:V) and insulting other users (WP:NPA). It's all laid out pretty clearly on their talk page, so I'm not sure where your confusion comes from. They blatantly broke very basic rules, and didn't stop after being informed of it. Sergecross73 msg me 12:21, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
Thank you. They deserved to be blocked. I saw on the talk page one admin said the user was "blocked indefinitely." Does that mean that they will be unblocked in an unspecified amount of time or that they'll never be able to edit on Wikipedia again? Noahbecksleftab (talk) 12:32, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- It means there's no end date to the block. It's not necessarily permanent - there's ways to ask for an WP:UNBLOCK - but considering they were insulting editors until the very end, where they even lost the ability to edit their talk pagr, they'd likely struggle to convince an Admin to unblock them. Not sure what part of their short, turbulent time here would convince anyone they'd follow the rules if allowed to edit again.
- Now it's my turn for questions. Why do you have so many questions about an editor you've never interacted with? They were blocked before you even made your account. It's unclear how you'd even make it to their talk page as such a new editor, let alone have to much interest in them. Sergecross73 msg me 12:56, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
I go to talk pages sometimes, and I was just curious Noahbecksleftab (talk) 14:06, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- Okay, well, I'm seeing an awful lot of strange coincidences here. Going around reading and commenting on random user talk pages isn't common new editor behavior. Most newbies don't even realize they exist when starting off. There's also the fact that there's quite the overlap in articles edited, even to the point where you often make the exact same edits with the exact same editing style. Kind of weird that, as soon as one editor was blocked, a new one arises to make the same sort of edits, right? Sergecross73 msg me 14:49, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
Have you even seen the edits? I sourced some of them, unlike Animaljamfan123 Noahbecksleftab (talk) 20:01, 20 October 2021 (UTC)
- my edits Noahbecksleftab (talk) 01:26, 21 October 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, that's certainly an improvement, but the fact that identical edits have been made under both accounts... Sergecross73 msg me 19:55, 21 October 2021 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you recently removed content from Enhypen without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 16:08, 10 January 2022 (UTC)

Please use edit summaries
editHello. I have noticed that you usually edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Bishonen | tålk 19:40, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
Unexplained removal of sourced content
editYou removed well-sourced content here with no explanation. I don't understand why (please use explanatory edit summaries!), so I have reverted your edit. Bishonen | tålk 19:44, 14 May 2022 (UTC).
- It really just seemed baseless and unnecessary Noahbecksleftab (talk) 23:38, 14 May 2022 (UTC)
- The text you removed is based on several published, reliable sources. It is necessary to fairly represent the contents of such sources per WP:NPOV. --Sangdeboeuf (talk) 03:54, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Important notice: post-1992 American politics
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}}
on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Warning
editThank you for using an edit summary here. However, that edit was disruptive, especially insisting on it after you were reverted once. You should have gone to the talkpage at that point, instead of edit warring. Removing that text is moreover tendentious. That's the worst problem. Another problem is that the removal messes up the prose; the next sentence, which you left in, speaks of "such disparities", something that became incomprehensible when you removed the mention of the disparities. Did you not read the whole paragraph? Any more disruption from you and you will be blocked from the whole site, just like Animaljamfan123 was. I see Sergecross73 made some interesting comments about that account above. You were pretty lucky they didn't block you for block evasion at that time, but I suppose they wanted to give you a chance to edit properly. Don't waste it. Bishonen | tålk 08:22, 15 May 2022 (UTC).
Can you please stop edit warring
editIncase you didn't know, it is okay to use the physical album cover for Thumbs Up, especially its the album cover shown in the reference posted in the rationale of the file page. You keep posting of what you think is the album cover and you don't even have a reference to back it up. So please stop.TheHotwiki (talk) 20:13, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Sneakers (song), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 15:33, 16 July 2022 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Race and ethnicity in the NBA, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Specifically per MOS:PERCENT, '%' is generally not used in the body of non-technical pages. —Bagumba (talk) 05:24, 31 July 2022 (UTC)

editPlease do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Beautiful Monster (STAYC song). Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. — Paper9oll (🔔 • 📝) 15:47, 2 August 2022 (UTC)

October 2023: Do not add unsourced genres
editHello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to The Name Chapter: Freefall, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Ss112 06:20, 20 October 2023 (UTC)
