Hi Normanschraepel, re your sentence that Rottenburg is "Chair of the Anthropology and Philosophy Department at the University of Halle-Wittenberg", the source you have added (thankyou) says he is "Acting director". I would strongly suggest you use the phrase "Acting director" or something similar. "Chair" suggests he has been awarded an honorary position (which he hasn't, as far as I can see).
