Climate change: beware of confusing terminology
editHello Nul90, I saw you were assigned climate change for your university course. Please be aware that the article climate change isn't about (current) climate change, but instead about the broad concept of climatic change. There is currently a discussion underway to change the name of the article (or merge it) to avoid confusion. If you want to improve content about (current) climate change, global warming is the page for you. That page is, relatively, in a good shape, so improving it might be difficult. - Femkemilene, thank you for your note. I have corresponded with the instructor about the possibility of selecting another article just to avoid the stress of attempting to edit an article this much in flux. Nul90, I recommend exploring adjacent articles in Category:Climate change or Category:Global warming--perhaps something just as interesting but not quite so daunting will turn up. - You might like to visit our project page as well for inspiration for a new article: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Climate_change. Femke Nijsse (talk) 21:14, 16 October 2019 (UTC)
Incomplete DYK nomination
editHello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Climate change at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 12:40, 27 November 2019 (UTC)
Note about DYK nomination
editHi Nul90, I saw here that you nominated Climate change denial for DYK. However, DYK has certain rules for eligibility and climate change denial is not eligible. Even if it was eligible, you did not follow the directions for creating a DYK. I have a more detailed set of instructions if you plan on nominating any additional articles for DYK.
