editHello, I'm ZimZalaBim. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added to Remote work have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Remote work. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Please review our policy about appropriate links. This is not a valid reference to add. ZimZalaBim talk 15:51, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
Hello, Number1992. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Remote work, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:02, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
Hello, Orangemike. I've read all the information you've sent to me. First of all, do not accuse me of "vandalism" or "spamming". Second, I saw that article 'cus it have good information and I wanted to add to de encyclopedia. I don't have any relationship with those guys. Third, as per the the external links guideline says, external links can be posted at the External links sections but you say this link is inappropriate for the encyclopedia, can you explain to me more and how should I add a new "external link" that doesn't hurt this network? Fourth, I find it outrageous the way you say I'm not trying to contribute to the encyclopedia. If not, should I be charged in that way? PD. I understand that wikipedia isn't a "links library", but, come on.
