Edit warring at Guy Fawkes

edit

Please stop edit warring at Guy Fawkes. You do not have consensus for the change you are trying to make. Discuss and obtain consensus at the article talk page as a next step. If you do not obtain consensus, the best action is to drop it. --Laser brain (talk) 15:07, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I see several users discussing the topic but there is definitely no consensus that he died by "suicide", which is what you're trying to insert. You've been reverted by two different editors. Please do not make the change again unless you have consensus to do so among the active editors on the page. --Laser brain (talk) 15:34, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
I'm not insisting on anything other than that you don't edit war. I don't have a horse in this race. The issue at hand seems to be the wording you are trying to insert. You and Killfile have suggested it should be "suicide" and at least two editors disagree, because they have reverted you. That's not consensus. --Laser brain (talk) 15:58, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
Once again, I do not care what the side bar reads. I take no position in the argument. I'm just asking you not to edit war. If you want to change the current wording, get some agreement on what it should be changed to. I don't know how to be any clearer. --Laser brain (talk) 16:27, 12 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
