Could you weigh in on the Onion Juice Therapy debate? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Onion_Juice_Therapy#Onion_Juice_Therapy Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by JamesMMc (talkcontribs) 01:37, 11 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Deal or No Deal etc.

Sure, glad I could help. That user has been IP hopping for a while and causing problems. If they reappear on another IP, feel free to let me know and I'll deal with them. Thanks, Gwernol 21:06, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Geocities and Jimdo

edit

I noticed this edit: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=GeoCities&diff=287247259&oldid=287216351 You said: " There are many, many, many, many rival webhosts doing this. I don't believe we need to list one in particular."

  • The edit summary does not adequately address the sentence. See, Jimdo was making a particular offer specifically to Geocities customers that was noted in a reliable source. From looking at reliable sources there are no other companies making this particular offer. It did say other companies wanted the Google and Yahoo customers, though, so I will make a note of Jimdo as being one of several; but the article only mentions Jimdo's offer in specifics. I have not encountered any other companies being named as having these offers via reliable sources. WhisperToMe (talk) 18:37, 1 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
