Fizeau interferometer
edit- Hello,
Just a reminder referencing to Fizeau interferometer:
When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. --Ohmpandya (talk) 23:58, 29 December 2007 (UTC)
Your edit to Eastonashe
editI know it wasn't a great section but your edit summary to the edit summary of this page wasn't exactly civil. Having seen your userpage I sympathise with your views but try and keep a cool head? If not for us at least for your own blood pressure! BigHairRef | Talk 20:21, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Not a problem, I very much share your feelings with stuff like that, especially when it's hanging around for four months with no one picking up on it. BigHairRef | Talk 20:28, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Now you see that all depends on whether you count the people who add the stuff (and vandals obviously) as WP editors? ;) BigHairRef | Talk 20:31, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
Thanks for your unsolicited insert into my talk page. As I'm a contributor and not a student of Wikipedia seeking grades, I'm not sure that cleaning up the image notifications on my own talk page is at all "like giving students freedom to edit their permanent records." This viewpoint suggests a magisterial overlook which I'm sure you'll agree Wikipedia tries to avoid. With all best wishes Yallery Brown (talk) 21:38, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Rfa failed
editHi O keyes, Sadly, your recenent rfa failed and was closed according no WP:SNOW. You can, if you wish, re-add your Rfa as it's time was not yet up. This, however wouldn't be adisable: As an unwritten rule on Wikipedia, one should wait another 3 months until requesting adminship again. For next time it may be beneficial to view failed requests and successful requests. You should also read the Admin reading list and contemplate Admin coaching. Good luck next time...
