Missvain (talk) 22:17, 7 January 2020 (UTC)Chris von Christierson moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, Chris von Christierson, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Dewritech (talk) 12:11, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you Dewritech,
- A couple of question:
- Can you tell me which sources are not reliable? Also, when is necessary to quote a source? For example, does Cambridge University need to be quoted?

editManaging a conflict of interest
editHello, Oasis2019. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:Chris von Christierson, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:52, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, DG. I do know this guy, but I don't work for him and I personally have nothing to do with his company, competitors, clients or family. AND I don't get paid to do this. Though I have contributed to a few articles, I've read the guidelines they are not necessarily straight forward for a coding illiterate. Oasis2019 (talk) 18:17, 16 June 2023 (UTC)

editPlease do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Draft:Chris von Christierson, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 13:45, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
- In the guidelines of the Help section it says that content can be removed as long as it' added it to the edits summary explaining the reasons why the comments were removed, and this is what I've done. As I have explained, the non supported references were removed, instead, the direct pages (i.e. Cambridge University) were used. Those comments that do have references were left, so I'd like to understand why the comments have to stay. Can you explain please as I'm new to this? Thanks Oasis2019 (talk) 13:54, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
- Comments on draft articles are left until the draft is accepted and it is disruptive to submit identical drafts. Theroadislong (talk) 14:34, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks. And can you please tell me what to do with the draft review? I understood from one of your comments that I had to add the edited draft on my sandbox, which I did, but I just got a message that it was rejected as it was disruptive because it was sent twice. So, from where should I submit the drafts and do I need to resubmit the article for review? 2A00:23C5:9C17:8701:99EE:2195:AED0:CCD (talk) 16:00, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
