Connection to Miles McMullan

edit

I have to ask, what if your connection to Miles McMullan? I notice every one of your edits both here and on other Wiki projects have been about this person. Canterbury Tail talk 01:55, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not every one of my edits - I have written of a number of authors and illustrators working in the same field as Miles McMullan. I know him personally.Obejara (talk) 10:03, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

In which case you need to conform to our Conflict of Interest guidelines since you're writing about a person you know personally, it means you're involved. Canterbury Tail talk 18:06, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I am not a paid contributor nor employee nor do I have economic interests or connection to the company of the authors or illustrators I have written about. I have met them, including Miles McMullan and Steve Hilty, and didnt consider this a COI. Please let me know if any part of the articles or edits should be removed or remove it if it is inappropriate. Thankyou Obejara (talk) 20:23, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

No I don't believe anything needs to be removed, the article etc seems perfectly fine. You do however need to be careful about WP:Copyright as you had uploaded a load of images that were just directly from books, which Wikipedia cannot accept. Canterbury Tail talk 20:35, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
