January 2024
editHello, I'm Doug Weller. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Judean provisional government, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 13:03, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Still having problems figuring out what exactly is a 100% reliable source. Sorry OctoGreeko (talk) 13:37, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Judah HeHasid (Jerusalem), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 13:06, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
You are editing in areas you are not allowed to edit, the Arab-Israeli conflict
editFor instance [[1]] which also has a big notice at the top making this clear. Also Yaakov Heruti, Zuheir Mohsen, Operation Hiram and a lot more. RIght now I am still considering what to do with the fact that you deleted and then ignored the alert. This is of course on top of all the bad sources you've been using, which is a different issue but doesn't inspire me with confidence. Doug Weller talk 13:23, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello, I have not added anything “wrong” or out of context to those articles. Which “warning” did I delete? I delete everything older than a week. OctoGreeko (talk) 13:36, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- And of course the article you created which was deleted. Why have you been editing in this area despite being alerted that you couldn't? Doug Weller talk 13:40, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- I have not created any pages about the Arab-Israeli conflict, only biographies about jewish people. OctoGreeko (talk) 13:42, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- And you are saying they had no involvement at all in the Arab-Israeli conflict. And that the Deir Yassin massacre talk page didn't either? Doug Weller talk 14:16, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Talk Pages and contributions, yes. Creation of new pages, no. OctoGreeko (talk) 14:17, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- So you agree you've been editing where you shouldn't. Operation Hiram. And are you saying you didn't create Yehezkel Mizrahi? Or Notable Jews? Every edit you make is a contribution. Doug Weller talk 14:31, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- I agree that I have contributed to articles related to this conflict. However, I disagree with the claim that I have created new pages about the conflict. Yehezkel Mizrahi and notable Jews were two separate articles. One was a biography and the second was supposed to be a list that would make research easier. OctoGreeko (talk) 14:38, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- @OctoGreeko So you've edited articles you are prohibited from editing. And you say that Yehezkel Mizrahi who was involved in the Intercommunal conflict in Mandatory Palestine, the1947–1948 civil war in Mandatory Palestine, the 1948 Palestine War, and the 6 Day War wasn't related to the Arab-Israeli conflict? And that the list of notable Jews you created which was full of people involved in the conflict was fine for you to create? Doug Weller talk 15:34, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Sorry, I find your comment illogical. When I create a bio about someone, I include all the information I have. Yehezkel was a Kurdish Jew and I found his story interesting. There's nothing paranormal about it. Your second argument is untrue. I included scientists, historians and activists. +The article was deleted before I could continue. Pure accusations, nothing more. OctoGreeko (talk) 16:15, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- What does "paranormal" mean? Doug Weller talk 16:53, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- in my understanding "Not normal". It also can be used in science for things that can't be explained. OctoGreeko (talk) 17:00, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- The word only refers to the supernatural. You are violating your restriction and clearly don't understand that. Doug Weller talk 17:15, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Creating biographies isn't against the rules. OctoGreeko (talk) 18:02, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Note that I’ve removed ECP, rushing to get it by violating the requirements doesn’t work
editContinued violations can get you indefinitely blocked. Doug Weller talk 20:36, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
- Huh? This is honestly confusing. You told me not edit on jewish biographies or anything related to the arab israeli conflict. I didn't. I've been editing for a few months now and this is the first time anyone has accused me of "rushing." You have revoked my editing rights for absolutely no reason.OctoGreeko (talk) 20:38, 31 January 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for February 1
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Freiheitsaktion Bayern, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Collapse. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editNote that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice:
{{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
- Lies lies and more lies!! Stop accusing me of random things. I DIDN'T BREAK ANY RULES, I STOPPED EDITING ARAB-ISRAELI PAGES AND STARTED AGAIN AFTER I GOT 500 EDITS. OctoGreeko (talk) 13:54, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
- Creating a new account to continue editing while you are blocked is breaking the rules. You are not permitted to edit here until you successfully appeal the block on your original account; until you do that, you will immediately be blocked when you are discovered, and any contributions you make under the sock accounts will likely be rolled back. This is now the second time you have been caught socking; if it happens for a third time, you may be banned by the community per WP:3X; that would make it a lot more difficult for you to ever be unblocked.
