Fair use rationale for File:PedroInfante.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:PedroInfante.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 72.88.44.133 (talk) 02:21, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:Logo lanix.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Logo lanix.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hugahoody (talk) 16:45, 26 December 2010 (UTC)
Lanix
editHello, could you please contact an administrator regarding Fleethams constant vandalism of the Lanix article? I don't know how to go about doing this. If you look at his history he has been in a six month long edit war over the article. Despite about 10 other editors telling him he's wrong and providing citations, he continues to delete large parts of the article and keeps turning it into a stub, deleting images and cited text while at the same time introducing his poorly written edits which are guess work on his part. He has been suspended and has gotten the article locked before but seems to have a grudge with this company for whatever reason. Could you please contact me either way? Thank You 69.235.202.157 (talk) 18:11, 12 May 2011 (UTC)
- Yes I most certainly will endorse it. He has just attempted to get the article deleted. Please go right ahead as soon as possible before he does any more damage. 69.235.202.157 (talk) 10:11, 16 May 2011 (UTC)
Revert
editHi, you reverted my edit to the Lanix page saying, "please see the talk page". I don't understand what you meant by that. It doesn't appear that you talked about your revert on the talk page. I would like to reach a consensus on what to include and what not to include in the article, so if you'd be willing to help with that I would be very appreciative! You've also helpfully provided reliable citations to support the page's notability, so perhaps you could do the same for some of the uncited claims. That would be great, because I have had difficulty finding any reliable, third party information on the company. Fleetham (talk) 01:42, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Notability tag
editPlease don't remove the notability tag on the Lanix page until we reach a consensus. Fleetham (talk) 01:58, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Consensus
editI don't understand why you say a consensus has been reached. No one but ourselves have been participating in the discussion. Fleetham (talk) 02:31, 13 May 2011 (UTC)

- I'm sorry, but you seem to have been caught up in the revert war and violated the 3RR. If you can commit to not editing the article for 24 hours, I'm sure the block can be reviewed. Kuru (talk) 11:46, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
Lanix changes
editHi, thanks for discussing changes to the Lanix page. I think the page needs more than the "refimprove" top tag. I think the page needs big changes. I would like to come to some agreement about what those changes should be. Are you agreeable? Fleetham (talk) 04:52, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
- I've posted on the Lanix talk page. I do hope you'll help us reach a consensus on what needs to be done! Fleetham (talk) 16:13, 17 May 2011 (UTC)
- I can give you an electronic copy of Lanix's current catalouge which states that they currently sell the Android powered Illium smarthphone. I don't know why it's so hard to find this data actually. You'd think they'd be talking about it a whole lot. And additionally SPK, isn't a blog, SPK is simply the online version of the Sputnik magazine therefore it passes certifiability by wikipedia standards. You can even read on some of the SPK citations how SPK was granted special information from Lanix. I have had some trouble finding more certifiable information about the Android phone but there are numerous sources which speak of it however Fleetham keeps reverting them. I can send you the Lanix phone catalouge if you would like though? Please write me back, thanks 69.235.205.98 (talk) 19:05, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Here is a copy I just found on Lanix's official Facebook company page [1] this was from a catolouge mailed in newspapers. 69.235.205.98 (talk) 19:15, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
Problems with the Lanix page
editCan you please talk to fleetham or have an administratir take action on him? I keep adding citations from the Lanix website and he keeps removing them saying not to add them because a concensus has been reached and I have read the discussion page multiple times and no such consensus saying to remove text with cites from the Lanix website should be removed. This is highly unprofessional and he is blatantly lying. His edit history shows that he does this a lot. Can you please offer assistance? 76.208.175.3 (talk) 22:23, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:46, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
