Proposed deletion of Custom 30

edit

The article Custom 30 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable boat per WP:GNG, no coverage online from WP:Reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Olduvai Hominid 8. Your edits have been automatically marked as unconstructive/possible vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Olduvai Hominid 8 was changed by Oh8 (u) (t) making a minor change with obscenities on 2009-12-31T12:39:47+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 12:39, 31 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

It appears that this bot flagged the edit as obscene due to the use of the word 'HOMO', which it likely only knows as a pejorative, and not as an acronym for the peer reviewed journal you were using it to refer to. Being a bot, it likely only saw your edit, which only added a few characters throughout the article including the suspect phrase, and incorrectly assumed it was a, unfortunately common, minor form of vandalism.98.108.135.143 (talk) 12:32, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Yes, don't worry about the bot, you can always undo its edits and nobody will revert back if your edit summary is clear.--91.148.159.4 (talk) 21:17, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about the bot causing reverts. Not that I am connected with the bot. I just wanted to encourage you to continue at wikipedia. We need good contributors and specialists here. I just wanted to express empathy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supreme Unmanifest (talkcontribs) 19:20, 7 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
