editThis is your only warning; if you create an inappropriate page again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Bbb23 (talk) 16:12, 10 November 2014 (UTC)
i am so sorry to inform you that you deleted the WHOLE source
code of my article (about 3 kb of compiled text).
Unfortunately i did NOT made reserve copy of this article.
As a result in my age, 58 years old, i must seat again near computer
and suffer from headaches to recover article about myself.
Noteworthy, the article might be easily blocked without complete deletion.
But the source code belongs to author, indeed. It is lost
for me forever. But this text belongs now to third parties.
Sorry.
This source had been deleted just for inclusion
of
1) ACADEMIC article from www.loc.gov
2) and name of academic institute: namely General Physics Institute
So i did nothing wrong. These lines might be excluded
without destruction of the whole article.
Sorry.
i am so sorry, but your move seems to be quite unfriendly.
i did not included any improper content in this code indeed.
And this article had been closed from viewing for wikipedia audience on November 10. i expected to squeeze the article as i usually do with scientific article.
So you deleted the info on my published works and my career i would like to share with professional community.
i had intention to edit this draft, but i cannot edit it
further, the three days of my life were spent in vain.
i am 58 years old already and it is not easy to maintain
working conditions in this age.
It is a pity and as far as i concern deletion was made in irreversible way.
So i cannot edit this uncompleted page forever.
With all my respect to Wikipedia creators and personnel i will not contribute to Wikipedia in future.
Because i feel heavy discomfort of your action.
So if you disregard me to such extent, i assume that you may also try delete my scientific articles from www.arxiv.org.
Nevertheless i wish you a good health and recommend you to read a printed books on basics of Christian morale.
Best wishes to you and your family,
Alexey Okulov,
Ph.D in Physics and Math,
who worked since 1979 as research physicist
and scientific programmer in
1) Lebedev Physics Institute
and
2)General Physics Institute
of Russian academy of Sciences.

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Vortex-antivortex pairs jpg.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Vortex-antivortex pairs jpg.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

Take part in a survey
editHi Okulov99
We're working to measure the value of Wikipedia in economic terms. We want to ask you some questions about how you value being able to edit Wikipedia.
Our survey should take about 10-15 minutes of your time. We hope that you will enjoy it and find the questions interesting. All answers will be kept strictly confidential and will be anonymized before the aggregate results are published. Regretfully, we can only accept responses from people who live in the US due to restrictions in our grant-based funding.
As a reward for your participation, we will randomly pick 1 out of every 5 participants and give them $25 worth of goods of their choice from the Wikipedia store (e.g. Wikipedia themed t-shirts). Note that we can only reward you if you are based in the US.
Click here to access the survey: http://ucla.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_bI9nxWdVDoNZZKR

- Ruslik_Zero 20:14, 24 April 2024 (UTC) is NOT expert in Physics. Okulov99 (talk) 10:18, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- User Ruslik_Zero nominated for deletion 20:14, 24 April 2024 (UTC) on the article which satifies Criterion 1 for notability:
- Criterion 1
- can also be satisfied if the person has pioneered or developed a significant new concept,
- technique or idea, made a significant discovery or solved a major problem in their academic discipline.
- Have at least one significantly new concept:
- "Michelson interferometer with phase-conjugating mirrors" ,
- published in especially prestigious and selective academic journal JETP
- (in 1980 JETP was a one of the most prestigious and selective journals in Physics).
- Citation metrics confirm this partially.
- In this case it is necessary to explicitly demonstrate, by a substantial number of references to academic publications of researchers other than the person in question, that this contribution is indeed widely considered to be significant and is
- widely attributed to the person in question.
- publications in especially prestigious and selective academic journals;
- The only professional in Physics wiki User who participated in discussion was Ldm1954
- Delete, as per above. No indication that he is close to any of the notability criteria. Ldm1954 (talk) 23:59, 25 April 2024 (UTC)
- By position and activities Ldm1954 is Professor in Physics. But Ldm1954 does not see any notability in "Michelson interferometer with phase-conjugation" and subsequent realizations with optical vortices and Bose-Einstein condensates. It's a pity.Sorry. i apologies for inconviniences inflicted by my works to Professor Ldm1954.
- The other Users were unprofessionals:
- User: Bearian (school teacher with undefined past ) Delete. I don't see how any of his research was anything other than secondary. Bearian (talk) 18:16, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

- Users do NOT have to be subject experts to comment on articles for deletion, please stop harassing other editors. Theroadislong (talk) 15:34, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Sir, thank you very much for your opinion.
- Kindly please, take into account. i brought apologies to Prof. David Eppstein
- concerning mentioning his age. Kindly please take into account that my apologies
- were extensive and i wrote several sentences with excuses.
- Noteworthy i refined my question in a hopefully correct form:
- indeed, the age of Wikipedia , filled by high quality content due to efforts of
- millions of Users, is about 20 years. Hence if a some
- person made 200 000 decisions on wikipedia content this means that
- a some person did about 10 000 decisions yearly and about 30 decisions
- on wiki content daily. Consequently some of these decisions may suffer
- from lightweightness.
- As a result of lightweight decisions a useful content may be lost or else this useful content may appear on pages created by another users. The probability that deleted content may appear on another pages in a form convinient to another users is nonzero. What's wrong in this polite argument?
- i insist on apparent fact. The well visible flaw in a one particular
- deletion that had been performed within one week, since April 24 till May 2.
- The probability is error is high, because the only
- appropriate expert ldm1954 confirmed deletion.
- i insist on the fact that deleted page descripts the
- several NOTABLE concepts developed in research where a given
- researcher took part.
- i mentioned the apparent fact that user Ruslik_zero has edited
- articles in observational planetology. This person who nominated
- a given article for deletion is NOT an expert in physics, in particular in
- quantum optics and cond-mat. Sorry, it is a well visible fact. Okulov99 (talk) 17:10, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- This largely makes very little sense so it's difficult to respond, but again editors do NOT have to be subject experts to decide whether a topic is notable enough for a Wikipedia article. Theroadislong (talk) 17:44, 7 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for obvious info. i stress the point that deletion of pages may result in a lost of useful content or else to transfer the useful content to another pages for the profit of another users. Okulov99 (talk) 06:47, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
- You are free to publish the content elsewhere, it can be emailed to you if you request that from the deleting admin. Theroadislong (talk) 07:30, 8 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks, i have a habit keep my own sources codes in html, tex, fortran safely. Cheers. Okulov99 (talk) 19:23, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
