Penelope McPhee moved to draftspace

edit

It appears that you may have a conflict of interest with the subject of Penelope McPhee, and as such you should submit this article to be published through the Articles for Creation process. Before editing the article further, please first disclose on your user page and on the article's Talk page whether you have received money to write this or other articles on Wikipedia, or if you have any other kind of conflict of interest concerning the subject. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Before submitting, you should make sure that the article is fully compliant with Wikipedia’s neutrality and verifiability policies, as well as our notability guidelines. When you’re ready, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. This process is encouraged, but optional. If you choose not to participate in it, you can remove the AfC template and move the article back to mainspace. You should also consider reaching out to the Teahouse for additional feedback and aid from experienced editors. signed, Rosguill talk 17:37, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for sharing this information @Rosguill. I have not received money to write this article and do not have a direct relationship with the subject. Helpful to know about the Teahouse resource. OmarLetson (talk) 18:48, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Broaden the question - do you have any professional or personal connection to McPhee? Paid or unpaid? If "No," make that that clear here. If "Yes," describe on your User page. Having PAID or COI are not grounds for Declining the draft, so address the other concerns to the best of your ability. David notMD (talk) 19:13, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. No personal connection. The subject is retired from an organization that previously worked with my current place of internship, so no overlap and no close connection. No one is receiving money for this to be written. OmarLetson (talk) 19:41, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Are you writing this piece as part of your duties or during work hours for your internship? signed, Rosguill talk 19:45, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
This is not for any client project but is hours, so if best to disclose even if not a close connection, then I can update user page. OmarLetson (talk) 20:26, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Yes, in that case we would still consider it to be paid editing by our guidelines. Please follow the instructions at WP:PAID accordingly. signed, Rosguill talk 22:19, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your response. To further clarify, the neither the company nor me is being paid for this. OmarLetson (talk) 22:40, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I looked at a couple of references and those did not appear to support the text that precedes them. Example: "Using Her Talents as Author, Journalist and Philanthropic Executive." Please check all refs for verification of text. David notMD (talk) 03:26, 20 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
