Oodus
I disagree with your wanton reversion of a cleanup I did on Jim Halpert and have reverted it as such. Next time, why don't you discuss something like that on the article's talk page to get a bit of consensus with the people who have been working on the article for awhile. I don't mean to "bite the newbies", but don't wholesale revert good-faith edits that truly make the article better. Can't you just make your own new changes without destroying the work of others? Re: sean mc sean and VCS
editHi. Thank you for you concern, and a sorry for the slow response.
I started a discussion in Talk:List of gangs in Grand Theft Auto series regarding the matter, and invited Sean to participate and state his case. That's probably the best that I can do for now.
Thanks again. ╫ 25 ◀RingADing▶ 14:43, 30 October 2006 (UTC) ╫
Office summaries
editYou should see them before I help them out. Crap writing and people inferring things not actually shown. Perhaps you should read the summaries on the numerous fan sites out there? Why do you dislike the summaries? BabuBhatt 22:15, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- I think that the episode summaries should include some of the humor that makes the show so great; without it, the summaries are boring. I think you should check out these links where maybe the fansites prefer a mundane, pointless summary to an episode. I have not heard similar criticism from any other editors. BabuBhatt 16:58, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
- Who do you believe the episode summaries appeal to? I just don't see people caring enough to read an encyclopedia entry in one particular episode of a sitcom unless they are a fan of the episode. I think you'll find that my work with the summaries makes them more concise and compact in many cases. I will admit that perhaps there should be fewer quotes from the show, but sometimes their exact works are all that can construe the bizarre nature of some of the action on the show. editHi, the recent edit you made to List of characters in Grand Theft Auto IV has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. P&R
editHey Oodus, I'm Hunter, I do a lot of the work on the Parks and Recreation episode and season articles.. I saw that you had done some early work on Flu Season (Parks and Recreation). Thanks very much for doing that! I hope you don't mind my changes and additions to the plot summary. Let me know if you did. Thanks again! — Hunter Kahn 17:13, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
- Nice work on the Wikiquote page! I can see how it would be tough keeping it to two quotes per episode, but these seem to be the right choices. I've added the Wikiquote box to the external links sections of the third season episodes and I intend to do the rest for the rest of the episodes hopefully soon (although if you can help with that a bit where you can, it'd be appreciated). Keep up the good work! — Hunter Kahn 06:40, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Hey Oodus. I see that somebody redirected Indianapolis (Parks and Recreation) back to the season three article. That's probably because since it was only plot summary, they thought it didn't meet the guidelines for its own article as specified by WP:N and WP:TVMOS. Just wanted to let you know that I haven't had a chance to work on the article yet because I moved into my new house this weekend and I won't have Internet at home for a while yet. As soon as I get myself situated on that end, I'm going to work on the article and add some reliable sources and make "Indianapolis" a stand-alone article again. When that time comes, the plot summary you wrote is still preserved in the article history, so I'll bring it back in to the article. Just wanted to let you know it's not gone forever, and give you an explanation as to my absence. :) Thanks! — Hunter Kahn 15:48, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'm sure your plot summary is fine (I haven't read it yet, because I missed the episode due to the move!) and in any event, it'll definitely be helpful to have for the article when it comes time to make it. — Hunter Kahn 16:06, 28 February 2011 (UTC)
Hey Oodus. I started the Harvest Festival (Parks and Recreation) article, but as you can see, I haven't done the plot summary yet. I can work on this in a few days if need be, but if you'd like to do your magic on it, it'd be much appreciated! No pressure if you can't. — Hunter Kahn 00:07, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Signature
editHey, just wanted to make sure you knew, if you put ~~~~ at the end of your comments it'll automatically put up your signature, right? My apologies if you knew this already, but I just wanted to be sure! — Hunter Kahn 00:57, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
DYK for Soulmates (Parks and Recreation)
editOn 13 May 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Soulmates (Parks and Recreation), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Tom Haverford revealed in "Soulmates", an episode of the NBC comedy Parks and Recreation, that he dreams of playing both the Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze roles in a remake of Point Break? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
