editHi, thanks for message. I've deleted Camp Quest now. I haven't looked at the Finnish article because I'm not an admin there, and the rules may be different, or applied less stringently.
- Hi, you can sign your comments automatically using four tildes ~~~~. Please add your messages to the bottom of the talk page, or they may be overlooked. I deleted your article because
- It was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic. Examples of unsourced claims presented as fact include: Their popularity has been growing in recent years... sparked interest in other countries... Prices range from around 215 euros to 325 euros [encyclopaedias are not a price list] 9740 young people have attended... Philanthropic values are at the base of the objectives of the camp... where young people reflect on humanity from different perspectives... The goal is to increase the self-esteem of the young person, as well as joy and respect of others through the discussion of such topics as love, relationships, sex, loneliness, death, sorrow, joy, belief, friendship, money, intoxicants, and possibilities...
I think this organisation is probably notable, but it needs a more detached and possibly more concise article. Let me know if you want the deleted text to work on. If you recreate, apart from the tone of the article,
- try to rely less heavily on the organisation's own website. If possible use independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines.
- Use normal capitalisation for headings, not fully capped
- Format your references as <ref>[url description]</ref>. Bare urls are unhelpful to the reader

- Thanks for your clarification. I completely agree with your comments and would like to work on the text to meet Wiki rules. A friend of mine from Finland was in a hurry to post it. I am aware of lack of independent sources for references and have collected a number of references from national newspapers. Do you think we can have the article back to edit it on spot? I am not an experienced user so I would appreciate your advice.Open 2 (talk) 06:41, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- I'll post the deleted text here. It's up to you, but when you've finished working on it, you could let me know before you repost, and I'll have another look Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:33, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your help. I'll let you know. Open 2 (talk) 16:24, 10 April 2013 (UTC)

editI made these tweaks. Better, but we are not there yet. The claim to notability of the movement rests on the numbers of camps and participants, yet that isn't mentioned in the lead section, which should summarise the article. There is still too much on the principles and detail of the camps, and not enough facts. What's the income/turnover of the movement? Where are its headquarters? I still get the impression I'm being sold an ideology, rather than presented with genuine facts
A couple of style things.
- refs should immediately follow punctuation with no space
- Two of your refs are bare urls
- there are two direct url links in your text. If they are refs, format them as such, if not, put them in "External links" section
- For non-English sources, include (in Finnish) at the end of the reference text (with the parentheses)

- I have made necessary changes according to your comments on the style. I cannot understand what to do with the direct url links in the text. They lead to the Wikipedia articles in the Finnish Wiki but I was not able to make it as the direct links. It does not work. What would you recommend? Open 2 (talk) 05:55, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've moved the remaining urls to external links. I suggest that you move (don't cut and paste) the page to article space and see what happens Jimfbleak - talk to me? 11:49, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've added three language links. At some stage they will be moved to wikidata by a bot which will make sure that all the links are on all the language versions, and convert the language links to the language of the host wiki (eg, on enwiki the "Suomi" will become "Finnish") Jimfbleak - talk to me? 13:35, 13 April 2013 (UTC)
