 Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Frank Borman

edit

Hello. I just want to Inform you that Broman Never received the NASA Exceptional Service Medal. Instead he received the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal. Broman isn't listed as a Recipient of Exceptional Service Medal but he is listed as a Recipient of the Public Service Medal. it was awarded to him in 1969. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NASA_Distinguished_Public_Service_Medal?wprov=sfla1 Spartan1924 (talk) 05:15, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Good point. Sorry about that. I mostly reverted your edit since it broke the infobox (you accidentally removed two brackets). In retrospect, I should have just added the brackets back instead of reverting the entire edit. If you want to add that information back, I’m fine with it. Thats fine. I noticed that the page was goofy when i did it.
And it might be better if you did it. that way i don't break the page again LOL. Spartan1924 (talk) 05:49, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Actually, Frank Borman doesn’t appear to be on the list you provided for the NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal, and the award appears to exclude astronauts (and government employees). Are you sure he received that award? Opportunity Rover (talk) 05:56, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
He is listed as a Notable Recipient of NASA Distinguished Public Service Medal in 1969 in Wikipedia. however someone just sent me the actual list of Nasa awards and He is Listed as a Recipient of the NASA Exceptional Service Medal in 1965 and the NASA Distinguished Service Medal in 1969. So Borman needs to bw taken off the list from the Public Medal and Added to the list for the Other Medal. Spartan1924 (talk) 06:02, 10 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sorry for the late response. That makes sense. Opportunity Rover (talk) 05:48, 23 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
