User warnings

edit

Sorry, I've been here only intermittently lately, so I didn't see your query promptly. (The user has been blocked for vandalism in the meantime.) Anyone can do the user warnings; in fact, ordinarily non-administrators will give the warnings and then if there is continued vandalism an administrator will be called in to block the user (usually by posting at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism). If you see some again, you can use the templates at Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace to warn the user (the ones for vandalism are on the top). Thanks for your work improving and keeping improved Wikipedia. Rigadoun (talk) 20:03, 23 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Howdy, ON37. Thanks for your comment on my talk page. I remember your username, but I can't bring to mind the altercation you mention. Can you point me to it so I can refresh my recollection? Thanks! —Scheinwerfermann (talk) 03:44, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ah yes, the noisy IP-only crusader from 64.107.xxx.xxx or 66.xxx.xxx.xxx. —Scheinwerfermann (talk) 13:29, 18 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dusting (inhalant abuse)

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dusting (inhalant abuse), and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Dusting (inhalent abuse). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally moving or duplicating content, please be sure you have followed the procedure at Wikipedia:Splitting by acknowledging the duplication of material in edit summary to preserve attribution history.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 20:40, 19 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

This was my mistake. I found a misspelled article title, but made an error correcting it resulting in two articles. It has since been fixed.

Here is my attempt to get an indirect autoblock (to my IP address that neither I, nor my account, nor my machine had anything to do with) removed:

marking copyedits as "minor"

edit

Unless it is a spelling correction or simple rearranging, please do not mark your edit as "minor". Help:Minor_edit Cantaloupe2 (talk) 15:37, 21 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for the guidance, Cantaloupe2. It would be helpful to me if you would cite a case where you think that I marked a major edit as minor. Originalname37 (Talk?) 18:58, 26 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
