((helpme)) I have created a page titled Tax expense but when I do a search it does not show up. The page was created yesterday so there is a lag perhaps before it finds its way into the search index? Or is there something else that I need to do? Thanks. gushippo 15:11, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hey Gushippo. I just was answering your question at the help desk and came here to see if anyone had welcomed you and noticed your ((help me)) tag attempt on this page. First you should know that no one would ever be alerted to your request for help because it is in parentheses rather than braces; {{help me}} is what you needed.
- The apparent reason you can't find the article is because it was moved and redirected, from "Tax expense." to "Tax expense" (no period). Although the redirect should have still redirected you to the article, I'm guessing that you clicked Search instead of Go, so instead of going straight to the article, wikipedia started created a list of the 50,000 articles in which the words "tax" and "expense" appear (a huge lag time). --Fuhghettaboutit 15:22, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
