Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Ellenbrook, Western Australia, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages IGA and Swan Valley. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 19:55, 19 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

are you interested in a critique before it goes up? there are quite a few issues... JarrahTree 02:56, 25 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello, yes that would be good... Outrune (talk) 00:15, 26 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Apologies - seem to have been distracted - the thing is the size, and some sections are not what one finds in the average locality article in metro perth (I havent reviewed them in detail for a strict comparison) or golf course resorts in australia (another not systematically checked)
However https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RACV_Royal_Pines_Resort is a good example of a short simple variety
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brookwater_Golf_and_Spa_Resort has a very good example of how to reference as accepted
so you have far too much detail, and not enough identifiable WP:RS, and some interesting textual issues. But hey, I suspect other reviewers might have other things to look at. I would take out the real estate detail WP:NOT and tidy up references and prune, prune and prune, and prune... JarrahTree 03:34, 31 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Belhus has far too much WP:OR - where there are no WP:RS to verify material added - a less friendly/kind editor could go through the addition and chop considerable portions or otherwise tag says who?. JarrahTree 03:54, 31 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I'm just another whatever - always be prepared to ask others for alternative opinions on things, there is also the prospect that some info you have collected can be utilised in other parts of the wider project. JarrahTree 09:20, 1 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I agree with you, I strayed from WP:NOT and went a bit too hard on minute details and OR. I've started cleaning up and pruning my Vines draft (Vines2) and will probably also re-write Belhus to be less of a list.
I am thinking the golf course resort stuff, I will split into a separate article, and keep this one relevant to the suburb/locality only.
re: length, I'd be interested in your opinion on Hamersley, Western Australia and Bayswater, Western Australia - two extremely long locality articles that reached FA/GA status... Outrune (talk) 06:03, 3 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am reluctant to place judgement on those particular FA/GAs on wiki. I think you have done well on your vines items, thanks for attending to my comments. The question is once the changes are sniffed out, whether others come and do their bit.https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Western_Australia&diff=prev&oldid=1255519252 might see some action, maybe. One never knows, it is a very random lottery with few indicators of what, who or why - to be polite about it. JarrahTree 09:50, 5 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
