Jomonte Suvisheshangal

edit

Hi there, your recent edits Jomonte Suvisheshangal are appreciated, but you should be aware of a few things:

  1. "Crore" is not a proper noun, so it should not be capitalised unless it's at the beginning of a sentence. Also it is singular, with no S on the end. We would say "500 million" not "500 millions". And technically we should be using millions instead of crore, per WP:COMMONALITY.
  2. The critical reception section relies too heavily on ratings and quotes, which is something I brought up to you before. Since quotes are from copyrighted materials, we can only claim fair use of these materials if we are using the quotes sparingly and using them to support summary material. We cannot base entire sections on materials lifted from other sources. This is part of why we should be presenting summary content as I noted to you many sections upward on you talk page.
  3. WikiProject Film does not like {{rating}} templates in references and I never see such templates in quality articles about western films. Please don't add them.
  4. The Indian Cinema Task Force at Wikipedia does not care about satellite right sales. This has been discussed before. We aren't here to track every dollar a film made. Thousands of films are rebroadcast on cable/satellite and it is just not important enough to note who purchased those rights, and you never see these details in articles for films like The Avengers: Endgame.

It would be appreciated if you'd please keep these in mind moving forward. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:13, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks, for all the information and i'll correct all the sections which you have highlighted and won't be repeating the same mistakes.PK743 (talk) 17:20, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

I was about to start a merge discussion, but then I thought if you could do that yourself a discussion can be avoided. A sub-page is really redundant for this film, the article is not big enough to justify a split. WP:SIZESPLIT lists the sizes in which you can decide to split an article. Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum is only 15 kB in size, that's too low, even 40 kB "does not justify division". This could easily get a Merge verdict in a discussion. 137.97.68.70 (talk) 17:47, 8 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Bovineboy2008. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Coronavirus (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. BOVINEBOY2008 20:17, 12 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

[1] Thank you for finding the source for Nandi Awards. As their website listed only from 1998, this would be super helpful. --Ab207 (talk) 20:20, 22 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of awards and nominations received by Abhishek Bachchan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengali cinema.
