Welcome to Wikipedia. The project's content policies require that all articles be written from a neutral point of view, and not introduce bias or give undue weight to viewpoints. Please bear this in mind when making edits such as your recent edit to Angela McGlowan. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. ... discospinster talk 00:24, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Angela McGlowan. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Barts1a (talk) 00:29, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content from pages without explanation, as you did with this edit to Angela McGlowan. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Barts1a (talk) 00:31, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Angela McGlowan

edit

The article as it stands is written from a neutral viewpoint. The revisions that you are making are not neutral, they are filled with promotional peacock terms. A lot of the text is taken word-for-word from this source, which brings up copyright issues as well. ... discospinster talk 00:32, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Again, please do not revert to the promotional version. If there are problems with the current revision then fix them individually, but if you continue to revert you could be blocked. ... discospinster talk 00:40, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
I have received a legal threat from this user on my talk page " To avoid confrontation within a legal realm, please refrain from reverting to the incorrect biography."
To be more clear: PSI12, I strongly recommend you read Wikipedia:No legal threats, which is an official Wikipedia policy. DS (talk) 00:49, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia has a zero-tolerance policy for making legal threats to win arguments or intimidate other editors. You did so here against User:Barts1a. The policy can be found here.
If you agree to retract the threat and not make any further ones, I or any administrator can unblock you promptly.
Additionally, but not so urgently -
It seems like you are an agent or PR person representing Angela McGlowan. We have a policy requiring disclosures of conflicts of interest and that type of work usually falls under it.
If there are in fact falsehoods in the biography, our policy about biographies of living persons does encourage people to fix those. However, we balance that with policies against using Wikipedia for advertising or PR purposes and against whitewashing articles. If you can identify specific falsehoods in the article you can disclose them here, or send them to [email protected] via email for investigation and response (our OTRS volunteer response system). We do not have any desire to host false biographical info and we'll remove it as soon as possible if you identify specifics.
Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 01:04, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Trying to edit again logged-out using an IP address, as you did here from User:12.74.240.176, is unacceptable behavior. Please address the issues here. If you continue trying to evade the block we will take firmer action. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 18:57, 23 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
