- Hey, this isn't a game - it's an encyclopedia. You could go and start by correct some typos. Please see Wikipedia:Welcome, newcomers. Computerjoe's talk 19:20, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}}

Test
editThank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. --Passerby Cat talk cat 19:32, 29 May 2006 (UTC) (P.S. It's not a game :P)
SkyDome
editHi, you did a cut and paste move of the content for SkyDome, which is now located at Rogers Centre. The only way to change a page's title correctly (to keep the history attached) is to use the "move" button (you may not have it yet, you need to be a user for 4 days). In this case, undergoing a requested moves procedure is probably appropriate.--Commander Keane 19:45, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Your edit to Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
editYour recent edit to Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. Blocked
editI am blocking PVeankman (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · block log) as an obvious sockpuppet of banned user EddieSegoura. My evidence is presented below. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 02:37, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
Main evidence:
- 02:35, July 26, 2006 - Viriditas, in the context of a discussion about Eddie, adds Image:EddieSubway.jpg to my talk page. At the time, this was an image of EddieSegoura.
- 04:39, July 26, 2006 - 64.12.116.70, an AOL IP, removes the image from my talk page, edit summary "rm abuse of image". Certainly this is Eddie doing this; he usually edits from AOL.
- Upload log for PVeankman. Note the time he first overwrote Image:EddieSubway.jpg: 04:42, July 26, 2006. This is three minutes after removing it from my page and almost certainly establishes him as the same user. Since uploads aren't allowed from anons or new accounts, Eddie had to switch to this sleeper account to do it.
Confirming Evidence:
A look through PVeankman's brief list of contribs demonstates clear and obvious similarities to User:EddieSegoura's editing style and especially that of his recently-blocked puppets, User:YankeeFan2006 and User:Can't sleep, Yankees will beat Red Sox. For example, CSYWBRS said that "Corporate names for stadums suck" and YankeesFan2006 attempted to make a fork at Comiskey Park II (I'm assuming the AOL anon is him too.) A great deal of PVeankman's edits are along the same line, trying to move U.S. baseball park articles to their old non-corporate names. See also his move log. Other edits also have Eddie's hallmark style:
- [1] Attempting to creating redirects at misspellings
- [2] creating little poorly-written stubs
- [3] Maybe good-faithed but certainly research-free editing, later reverted as vandalism
Taken as a whole, these similarities are conclusive. —Bunchofgrapes (talk) 02:37, 2 August 2006 (UTC)
