What is exact source of this photo? (I need it for Polish wikipedia, but must know source to put it on commons). Pibwl ←« 20:59, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
You gave a source, but why is it in the public domain according to you? Dryke 16:28, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
- I've been so free to upload the image into commons (I mentioned you as the original uploader). With kind regards and thank you for retrieving the information, Dryke 17:13, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
Cruisers
edit"6 inch guns make it a light cruiser" - naturally. As for full displacement - you may be right, according to my source "Belfast" - 13 175 t, "London" class - 13 315 t, "Norfolk" class - 14 100 t!. And we should also take into consideration Armoured Cruisers, when talking about cruisers - I'm sure some were even bigger. Pibwl ←« 20:40, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Picture of the Week
editAbout Pier Gerlofs Donia
editWell, lets say it's 7 kg, okay, thats' also what the Fries Museum says. I went there, 'cause I live in the Netherlands myself, an I went there once. That is more reliable and realistic. And the height of this man is just a guess, and needs to be brought up as a guess, not like a fact. The horse-lifting legend needs to be kept, but not as a fact, but a legend. So I'll rearrange these things, allmost all of 'em, from facts into assunptions\legends. Thanks for telling me, and I'll think twice before adding assuntions and legends as being facts. Thanks for telling me, and goodbye.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
