Great job overall. I think you provided the essential information about conflict management styles and information about research using these models. Here are some suggestions for improvement as you revise.

The lead section offers a lot of good highlights about this concept. I think it could be a little more concise. For example, the second sentence could be moved to the background section. The sentence about the Thomas-Kilmann instrument could be moved down as well.

In the background section it might be helpful to talk about some of the context for Blake and Mouton in terms of why they wanted to developed this model. Also, it could be helpful to add a visual of the circumplex model in this section or in another place on the page. I think you might want to address that there are several other conflict management style models besides Blake & Mouton and Thomas & Kilmann. For example, Rubin has a model that was used quite a bit.

For the description of the content section be specific about which model you are using. It appears you are using the Thomas-Kilmann model, but you need to specify.

The application section is good in terms of describing the instruments. What does CPP stand for? It would be helpful to write that out in full.

The additional research section is good. Try to write with a more encylopedia style, which means that you can just get straight to the findings, conclusions, and implications. For example, the first sentence in the "conflict management styles and organizational communication" section is not necessary. Although you provide a nice summary of the study, there are few things that are a little unclear. For example, what does a "correlation between the five styles and managerial position" mean? The Shell study needs a little more detail. What are thumbnail sketches in this context?

The critique section is good. I was anticipating a critique about the trait-like nature of the conflict styles concept as juxtaposed with a more behavioral approach of conflict strategies.

Remember to use proper APA style throughout. For example, when using a direct quote you need to include page numbers in the in-text citation. For the references section, author first names are just initials and titles should have only the first word capitalized. Also, the year of publication should just be the year. You will likely have to manually edit the citations rather than relying on the Wiki citation tool to automatically do it for you. Jrpederson (talk) 15:29, 15 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
