Architecture in Lhasa

Hello, I just wanted to say that you did an excellent job with this article. I came across it while patrolling new pages, and it is far better than most new pages I come across. I know that must have been a tremendous effort, so I really want to thank you. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 04:33, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

lol why thanks. I would like to take credit except all of this is written by others and who stuck it in its entirety right in the Lhasa article. All I did was to give it a suitable home and link it in the main page. Pal2002 (talk) 04:38, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Even then, article formatting can give people fits; I still, after several months, haven't quite figured out images (positioning and the like). I've had to help people do this sort of thing before, and I find it very difficult; that you did it by yourself is pretty impressive. Once again, thanks. What a mess

I have never seen the combination of city X and "Prefecture-level city". That's bad prose, and moreover, redundant. I recommend that the template "Lhasa Prefecture-level city" be moved to "Lhasa Prefecture" or even "Lhasa", but since #2 re-directs to #1, non-admin users can't move it (move over re-direct), so we would need the attention of an admin. --HXL's Roundtable, and Record 05:35, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

lol...I gave up on the template already. Pal2002 (talk) 05:38, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

and...? --HXL's Roundtable, and Record 05:39, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

And what exactly have you two arseholes contributed to Tibetan articles on wikipedia?? I had intended to fully improve the Lhasa article fill out the empty section and even it out with an excellent article in it and had hoped to promote it to GA.. Quite frankly your response is DISGUSTING. I'd knock your teeth out if you in this room right now. I've dedciated an enormous amount of time to Tibetan topics and promoting article slike Sera Monastery to GA and breathing life into a par tof the world very few are actually working on. Go to hell.♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:31, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

How about you say something like. "Herr Blofeld. WTF is going on with the Lhasa article? The landmarks section is way too long and the others are empty? Please respond". And I respond and go: "Hello Mr. newbie. Yes I intend to develop this article and condense this article and write it evenly. It would be cool if you could assist me in developing it." So why the aggro and condescending "know-it-all" edit summaries and aggressive post on my user page telling me my efforts to improve the article or NOT good and terrible. You must understand that if you treat people like that when they are putting their own time into wikipedia anyway is not acceptable. An amicable message would not have prompted the above inflamed response. So if you want to put your account to good use discussing how to develop Lhasa to GA can commence at Talk:Lhasa. If you truly want to contribute to Tibetan articles with no agenda and will assume good faith from hereon ....♦ Dr. Blofeld 20:27, 18 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Do you think I would want to work with you after that? (and here again you assume the worst from the beginning) I think my wording maybe a tiny bit harsh, but I stand by that they are constructive criticism. eg. go add a whole bunch of empty headings with expand tags to the NYC article and you will get people madder. I can't work with someone who can't take criticism.
