Template:Infobox theatre

JaMikePA, I have reverted your edits of this template. You deleted parameter names (image, caption) that were actually used on a lot of pages. Result was that these images were not shown any more on articles. So that is why I reverted. If there is an addition you'd like to make to the template, you can ask me for another solution if you like. Another effect of your edit was that images like File:Warner Theatre.png (mentioned above) were not used at all. For copyright reasons (these are non-free images) they should be deleted then, which is what the note says. Yakima Bears and Hillsboro Hops

I don't think a redirect was necessary...the Bears have their own unique history, so as is convention for recent relocations (Richmond Braves, Ottawa Lynx, Tucson Sidewinders, Portland Beavers, Carolina Mudcats, Kinston Indians) I think we should split the two articles and have the Bears be a defunct team's article while the Hops is the current team's article. I probably stepped in it by adding ASL without researching that league at all; however, the broader discussion of how to order the leagues that are not sanctioned by USSF is also being included. USL move

I have reverted your move of United Soccer League (2010) because there is an ongoing discussion on the talk page as to what the appropriate title should be. I strongly advise you to be more careful, check the talk pages, and not to move articles while such discussions are ongoing. Because if you did, then you wouldn't have impatiently moved it to such a lousy title. "USL (soccer)" fails the guidelines at WP:NATDAB severely, as there's no reason to use the acronym when the spelled out version is avaiable (and no, the league has not been renamed to just the acronym). Please do not do that again, anywhere.

In fact, I would strong advise you to not unilaterally move pages at all, and open move discussions on talk pages instead. Not only because some moves you've done were to lousy titles and a discussion can lead to a better one, but because a formal move discussion, using the appropriate templates, gets the discussion noticed by administrators who have tools to allow them to move any article to any title, even if it is already occupied by a redirect (they can delete that page to make way for the move), and therefore we don't have to pick a bad title just because it isn't occupied.

This case in particular is bothersome, because if you had looked at the talk page, you would have seen that there were certainly other editors who are trying to carefully get this right, and that you are not the only person who knows what's happening. That's what it seems like you are saying here. Be more careful and check talk pages. That's what they're for. oknazevad (talk) 10:12, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

UBXs

I haven't reverted you at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Sports/US and Canadian/MinorLeagueSoccer because I don't want to be involved in an edit war but I think your deletion of the Rowdies and USL userboxes was unwarranted and should be undone. You make two points in your removal edits, namely that these UBXs infringe both the one-UBX-per-club policy and the non-free logo rules. I would like to point out that I have never seen any indication that the first rule exists (indeed, Barcelona has six and FC Bayern three). As for the copyvio worries, I follow the rules regarding keeping non-free content out of the userspace and do not use imagery unless it is freely-available: both the Rowdies badge and new USL logo are on Commons. Crew Stadium

In regards to MAPFRE Stadium, in looking at the secondary sources, it appears you are correct. The one issue in the article text, though, will be to make sure it also says "Mapfre" instead of "MAPFRE". I will put the request to get it moved. Always avoid doing a cut-and-paste move as those disrupt edit histories and will be reverted every time. --JonRidinger (talk) 22:53, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
