Wikipedia cannot be used as a reference

edit

Hi there, re: this edit and this edit, per WP:UGC, Wikipedia cannot be used as a reference, because it is user-generated. If you want to go to the relevant article and copy the appropriate references, that is fine. (Assuming the content is supported by references.) Additionally, references belong in the article, added directly after the content they support. Please see Referencing for Beginners for assistance. I'm going to revert your edit, but feel free to restore the changes if you can find proper references to support the changes. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:55, 7 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Again, stop adding content without including a reference. As I said above, references go in the article not in edit summaries and they should be formatted just like every other reference in the article. See WP:REFB. It's not other the job of other editors to clean up after you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 00:34, 8 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Alivardi. I noticed that you recently made an edit in which your edit summary did not appear to describe the change you made. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 18:18, 9 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
