Sockpuppet investigation

edit

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Paolo.marraffa, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Paolo Marraffa, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. This page is not unambiguously promotional, because I don’t promote the Apostolic Movement but I talk about my creation on Wikipedia. Pope Francis, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI met the Apostolic Movement, welcomed and approved it. This entity doesn't need my promotion. I don't even promote myself, but I want to improve my web reputation and i want to enrich wikipedia Eleonoracacia98 (talk) 18:16, 10 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Howdy hello! I see you've made one of the big mistakes that many first time users make: trying to create a page about yourself. Unfortunately Wikipedia doesn't work like that. Wikipedia is not for boosting your web visibility (i.e. advertising yourself, which is why your draft is up for deletion). If you are truly notable, meaning that reliable sources such as newspapers have given significant coverage of your life, someone will create an article about you in time. But I'm afraid that you're a regular person, like myself. I don't have a Wikipedia page, and neither do most people. If you're interested in Wikipedia, I encourage you to stick around and edit things you're interested in. But I'm afraid there is no way you're going to get a page about yourself published. I see that you're interested in Catholicism, you should drop a note at the WikiProject asking where a good place to get started editing is. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 21:21, 10 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

False accusations: Spam / advertising + seemingly using other account to avoid repercussions. The administrator Moneytrees has been unfair and superficial to block paolo.marraffa for spam and advertising or the use of multiple users. I therefore ask for immediate unblockPaolo.marraffa (talk) 06:46, 11 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Clearly you are either a sockpuppet or a meatpuppet- which isn't much of a difference anyway. We must treat you as a single person as we have no way of knowing who is sitting at the computer/holding the phone making edits. You were both editing about the same subject. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 07:10, 11 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

ok now i’m going to contact the arbitration committee.
