Hellenic Army Flags
editCould you possibly upload these nice images in PNG format instead of JPEG? PNG is more suitable for line drawings. Also please add the template {{insignia}} in the licensing section. Sv1xv (talk) 08:30, 21 July 2008 (UTC)
Hellenic Army
editHi Papastis
I knew about this article Formations of the Hellenic Army and have been looking at it for months, hoping that someone would be so nice to fill in the missing units. Sure I could create a graphic, but it then would look like this: South_African_Army#Future_Plans example. If that is ok with you I will have a go at it over the weekend - but personally I believe, that without the going down to battalion level a graphic is only a work half done. best regards, --noclador (talk) 22:06, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
- You are absolutely NOT annoying - you make do fantastic work :-) If you go on like this we will be able to make a full and perfect structure graphic of the Hellenic Army in no time! As for now, I will try to steal some time from work tomorrow and hopefully by this time tomorrow the graphic of the II Army Corps will be finished and online :-) Keep up the good work and just post all new units on my talkpage and I will add them as quickly as they come to the overall graphic. --noclador (talk) 17:27, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
- have a look at:
- II Army Corps two questions remain: a) what are the units of the Corps Field & Air Defense Artillery Command, the Corps Engineer Command and the Division Artillery Command and b) are you sure there is a Marines Armoured Squadron (3η ΙΜΑ) and a Marines Armor Company (ΙΜΑ) - I think they are the same... thanks for all the info :-) --noclador (talk) 15:58, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
- have a look at:
Hellenic Air Force
editPerfect :-) I will have made the graphic until the end of the week. --noclador (talk) 14:54, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Images in Template:Greek Military
editThere is a problem with the Coats of Arms used in Template:Greek Military. They are labeled as fair use images, therefore they are not allowed in templates, only in articles.
The copyright status of these images must be clarified. If they are described in an official text of the Greek Government, then at least the concept of each design is in the public domain and not fair use.
File permission problem with File:Image of the 95th Hellenic National Guard Higher Command.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Image of the 95th Hellenic National Guard Higher Command.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
