Paid editing
editHi. Just a friendly tip: even if your paid editing is declared within policy, it is hardly likely that any volunteers will be ready to help you with your article. See WP:BOGOF by Widefox. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 20:39, 9 May 2020 (UTC)
Draft:S S Mantha
editI'm one of the editors herewho works most on bios of scientists. I've taken a look at it. It's a promotionally written article of a notable person. As Kudpung says, I am not really inclined to devote my efforts as a volunteer towards improving an article for which someone else is going to be paid money. The only suggestion I can make to you is that before you try to write here for money you learn to write here properly, which you can do best by working on articles of personal interest.
But I also have to ask you, have you written any articles here under any other user names? DGG ( talk ) 00:29, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
- DGGThanks so much for the comments and the pointers as to how to edit the page better. I have never written any article before this on Wikipedia in my life. And I had to make that declaration of paid editor to ensure my page doesn't get tagged as a sock or deleted - which another 'sock' was bullying me into. That account has apparently now been reported and banned indefinitely - ninjaeditor.
- I can assure you I am not getting paid in any form to write or edit this page. I'll keep your comments in mind, it is great! I've tried editing the article again, please do help me refine it better!Parisgirl89 (talk) 08:51, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
