You asked Chzz about girl groups at Wikipedia. I'll note that Wikipedia is not intended as a social medium, but it is understandable that you might have questions when editing and might wish to talk to others. Some people self-identify as male or female, some deliberately do not, and some don't care one way or the other. I'll point you to Wikipedia:WikiProject Iran. The main page has a list of participants. I'm not familiar enough with your language to recognize distinctly female names, but I trust you can do that. In case the name is not revealing, you can go to their user page, where some might identify whether they are male or female. Unfortunately, the majority of Wikipedians are male, so your search may be difficult (I checked a few at random, and didn't find any).--SPhilbrickT 01:32, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of S.A Ghafari

The article S.A Ghafari has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Apparently promotional bio. No evidence of notability, at any time in the article's nine years of existence. WP:BEFORE shows no mainstream sources; all sources are minor and near-blog level.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
