the idea that god simply created every thing is purposterious when so much eveidence shows the contrary. i accept in the existance of a higher power and that he guided evolution to form the human race. so what ever catagory that fits into

Your beliefs seem to come somewhere in the range of ideas that have been called, for categorisation purposes, Theistic evolution, though there are no distinct boundaries, and these names are just an attempt to indicate where ideas fall on a wide spectrum. Contributing on these articles can be hotly debated to get close to the right balance of properly attributed information presented in a "WP:NPOV" way so that all significant viewpoints are proportionately represented, without giving Undue weight to Pseudoscience.
