- Hello! Thanks for your help with the Chinese Taipei flag. Didn't realize it. But, you changed the wording of the subsections from the words to the numbers (fifth vs 5th), and I'm trying to understand why. I modeled that section directly from the 2006 FIBA World Championship for Men and they have those words spelled out and not using their numbered representation. Thanks for any information.Figgie123 13:53, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
Please support complement EU !!!
editHi,as a EU supporter maybe you´d like to support this: I´m trying to implement the 'EU' in the city-templates of European city articles. The EU should be mentioned next to the country; like country : Spain / EU Please support the enhancement in these templates and argue for the innovation if you want to. Would be great.

Age category
editHello! If you are receiving this message, that means that your user page is in a specific year category. Per a recent user-category per deletion, all specific year categories are to be deleted. If you wish to continue using year categories, you have two options:
- Using an age group category, such as Category:Wikipedians in their 30s
- Using a decade category, such as Category:Wikipedians born in the 1970s.
If you wish, you may do both. Hopefully, this change in categorization will be quick and painless. Happy editing! --An automated message from MessedRobot 13:20, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
Greek etymologies
editGreek etymologies
editHi Patroklis. A cleanup project has been lying stagnant for months due to me "leaving" the wiki. Essentially, it's just standardising some etymologies from ancient Greek - the original contributions were mostly correct but some were transliterated etc. and the whole thing was generally a mess. Would you consider taking on the task? Info is at Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce/Greek etymologies. haz (talk) e 07:18, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
editHello Patroklis! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 709 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Isabelle Fijalkowski - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 18:47, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
June 2010
editWelcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Go (Jónsi album), makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. JD554 (talk) 19:03, 11 June 2010 (UTC)
Tanisha Wright photo
editThe info box of Tanisha Wright contained a photo you added. It was a photo of Tanisha wearing the uniform of the team she played on in 2009. However, she no longer plays for that team so I think it would be appropriate to use a current photo representing her current team. One option is to include both photos although the article might need a bit more prose to justify it. If you disagree with my inclusion of a more recent photo, let's discuss.--S Philbrick(Talk) 18:50, 3 August 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
editHi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

editHi! How are you? I have noticed that you say in your user page that you speak Ancient Greek and I was wondering whether you could possibly help us revive the Ancient Greek Wikipedia at the Incubator. It would be great if you could lend us a helping hand. Jon Gua (talk) 14:23, 11 February 2024 (UTC)
