editThanks for your helpful IT support and your diligent fact-checking yesterday. The group achieved a lot, and in particular it was good to see the Marjorie Mussett article improved. I hope we'll wiki together again in future! Cheers, MartinPoulter (talk) 14:19, 14 November 2014 (UTC)
Categories
editHi. I've just come across Category:Francis Crick Institute faculty a few weeks ago. You may want to have a read of Help:Category and Wikipedia:Categorization, as they don't work in quite the way you think. The idea is that you add a category to each article (as you did with Jonathan P. Stoye) and then the wiki software automatically organises it within the category, rather than you editing the category page directly. Maybe you've already worked it out, but I thought I'd mention it. Also it's important to assign each new category to one or more categories, as the hierarchy not only helps humans to find the new category, but it's also used by bots for maintenance tasks. Cheers.
