Possibly unfree File:KUTS 6.JPG
editA file that you uploaded or altered, File:KUTS 6.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to G. Babu Rao, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. StAnselm (talk) 05:28, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Hrangthan Chhungi
editPlease stop. If you continue removing Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Hrangthan Chhungi, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. StAnselm (talk) 08:51, 11 February 2010 (UTC)
Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to G. Babu Rao, without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in you being blocked from editing Wikipedia. StAnselm (talk) 08:55, 11 February 2010 (UTC)

Tags
editPavani, I don't think you've been realising the difference between different tags on Wikipedia. The proposed deletion tag can be added to any article once. It can be removed by anyone, and if it is, it must not be added again. If you think the article should be deleted, you then must use the articles for deletion process. Article for deletion tags must never be removed. Notability and other tags can only be removed if the issues are addressed, and they should be discussed on the talk page. editPlease do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to R. Yesurathnam, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. You seem to be on some personal vendetta. That has to stop: these templates were more than justified. Drmies (talk) 19:48, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Society for Biblical Studies in India, you will be blocked from editing. Your removal of the notability tag and the link to the DAB page constitutes vandalism, especially given your unwillingness to participate in the discussion on the talk page. You have already been blocked once for such actions in an edit war; you are heading down that path again. In addition, your qualification of one editor's edits as "widespread vandalism" falls foul of WP:AGF, and if you do so again, I will report you. Drmies (talk) 20:41, 21 February 2010 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Ch. Vasantha Rao and others
editAn editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated articles are Ch. Vasantha Rao, G. Babu Rao. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to the relevant discussion pages: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ch. Vasantha Rao for Ch. Vasantha Rao, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/G. Babu Rao for G. Babu Rao. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 10 March 2010 (UTC)
File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Vasantha Rao 3.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:Vasantha Rao 3.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 04:27, 14 March 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Radagast3 (talk) 04:27, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image
editThanks for uploading File:Premasagar1.jpg, File:Premasagar2.jpg and File:Premasagar3.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the images are non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the images are currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Bilby (talk) 12:19, 2 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hi! Sorry about the formal message above, but as it contains some useful information I thought it might help. I've had to remove the three images as they didn't have fair-use rationales, but also because they didn't seem to be essential for the article. If you disagree that's cool - but you will need to provide a rationale when adding them. If I can help, just let me know. - Bilby (talk) 12:24, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

Survey
editHi Pavani!
I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!
It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!
Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!
Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! Notification of automated file description generation
editYour upload of File:B.s.childs.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.
This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks! Using one of your photos?
editDear Pavani, me and my research project work on an e-learning tool about missions and churches in the non-Western world. One unit of the e-learning tool deals among others with ordination in Indian churches. As we intent to use images in this unit, we browsed Wikipedia for pictures of ordained Indian pastors and came across your photo of Bishop Surya Prakash: [[1]]. We would be happy to use this picture for our e-learning project. May I ask you for permission to use this image? Please contact me via my wikipedia user page. Thank you very much! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Red boehme (talk • contribs) 07:57, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. File source problem with File:Premasagar7.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Premasagar7.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
