I just wanted to drop by and thank you for stepping in to help clear up the situation surrounding the articles created by Musicedbloggerman. I have withdrawn the WP:SPI complaint. I'm sorry if you felt incensed or insulted by the situation, no offense was intended. Please understand that it is very unusual for a brand new user account to go straight to a disputed article and it's deletion discussion; 9 times out of 10 the new user is a sockpuppet, a secondary identity used to create an illusion of support.

The appearance of new users with no other contributions at articles for deletion discussions tends to send up a red flag to more experienced editors. Coupled with the nearly simultaneous appearance of anonymous IPs to the discussion, and the unfortunate fact that these types of attempted deception do happen regularly on Wikipedia, this situation appeared suspicious at the time, to me and others. I'm glad that this was not the case here, and your comments and those of Cdpurifoy have helped to clear this up.

Regarding your article, I'd like first to point you in the direction of a few pages which can help you understand what Wikipedia's policies, guidelines and processes are regarding biographies. Biographies of living persons is our main policy page regarding these articles, and Biographies of living persons-Help is a page created for people such as yourself, who have an article about themselves here and are new to the project.

Once you've had a chance to look at those, here are a few more things to look through. The general criteria that the community uses to establish notability for biographical articles is Wikipedia:Notability (people). The General notability guideline is also useful. Notability then needs to be verifiable in independant, reliable sources. Don't take it personally if your article is not accepted at this time. Many people who are highly respected in their fields do not merit articles here.

Thanks again for helping to clear up the SPI issue; and again, please don't take that issue or the AfD personally. Now that you've found your way around WP a bit, I hope you'll be willing to contribute to other areas of the encyclopedia. I'm sure the editors of Wikipedia:WikiProject Law would love your help. All the best. Wine Guy Talk 09:48, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
