Oreo Priest talk 11:59, 13 June 2014 (UTC)Good work! Very thorough. A few notes:
- Consider linking to many more terms that might be unfamiliar to the reader. I'm sure a link to glycosaminoglycans, for example, would be appreciated, as would many of the other terms in that sentence.
- References are formatted immediately after a period, with no space before and with a space after, like this.<ref>[placeholder]</ref> The formatting within the references is very well done.
- The article is an WP:ORPHAN, meaning no other articles link to it, so people will be unaware of it and won't find your work (except directly from Google). I would add mention of it in the articles Eggshell and protein membrane separation and Eggshell at the very least.
- If you make these changes in the next few days, and suggest a snappy "hook", this article will very likely be featured on the 'Did you know...' section of the Wikipedia main page! For the hook, just copy the format of those already on the main page, making sure that it's a) interesting and b) cited. I'll take care of the process if you can take care of the above promptly. Alternatively, I could do everything if you really need.
If you have any questions at all, don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page. Again, great job! Oreo Priest talk 12:15, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
- Also: you had '...hydrolyzed (see [[hydrolysis]])'. Note that you can write '...[[hydrolysis|hydrolyzed]]' which displays as '...hydrolyzed'; this is called 'piping' a link, and it allows you to link to an article that is not exactly the same as the text of the link. See Wikipedia:Piped link. Oreo Priest talk 14:25, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
- I've nominated it for DYK. You can follow its progress at Template:Did_you_know_nominations/eggshell_membrane. Oreo Priest talk 15:21, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
DYK for Eggshell membrane
editOn 9 July 2014, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Eggshell membrane, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that eggshell membrane is extracted from many of the two billion dozen eggshells produced annually at US egg-breaking facilities? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Eggshell membrane. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |
Infant swimming
editHi. I found Infant swim recovery; is there any text you'd like to incorporate into the new article? Please do so if so, and then redirect it to the new, broader article. Cheers, Oreo Priest talk 20:08, 18 August 2014 (UTC)

- FYI, this DYK also led to a very popular Reddit thread which will land this article in the WP:TOP25 for September 21-27 (draft in process, should be up later today).--Milowent • hasspoken 15:32, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
