Proposed deletion of Sarraino theory

edit

The article Sarraino theory has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence that this theory meets notability criteria for inclusion. Borderline G11; a search on "Sarraino theory" only returns a YouTube video uploaded by a user with the same account name as the article creator.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —KuyaBriBriTalk 18:39, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

And I have deleted the article under criteria G11 of our speedy deletion criteria. This prohibits articles whose only purpose is to promote a service, product, or (in this case) position or theory. The only source for the article was posted to Youtube using an account identical to your own, which is also indicative of self-promotion. Finally, this edit indicates that your intent is to propose or discuss a theory, and that's not what Wikipedia is for. Please post {{helpme}} if you require any assistance, or leave a message on my talk page (here) if you'd like more detailed information from me. Why Wikipedia shouldn't have an article on the Sarraino theory

edit

On Talk:Sarraino theory you stated that you "just wanted to add the theory of quantum physics to religion". Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a soap box for you to propose new theories of religion and [quasi]-science. Start your own web page to promote your ideas. Also, unfortunately, your description of this theory seems to show a frightful lack of understanding of the actual workings of quantum theory. Quantum theory has nothing at all to do with "creating your own reality" but rather seeks to explain the actual reality that we all experience.
