Lhasa photo needs licensing info

WP needs licensing info for your dog photo (that drop-down list of options when you uploaded the photo). Such as w:GFDL or w:public domain. Elf | Talk 00:14, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

OK, thanks. One more detail; you added "Image taken by: WOLFa. Uploaded by: PegaS." Wikipedia also needs to know the connection betweeen WOLFa and the license (GFDL) granted to the image. In other words, are YOU WOLFa or has WOLFa made a clear statement about the image being licensed under GFDL? Sorry to be picky, but WP tries to be careful about potential copyright issues. Just make a statement about how the info was obtained--so I'm making this up, but something like "Photo by WolfA; originally posted on http://foo.dog.com; email from WolfA Jan 15, 2006 confirms release to post under GFDL". So just narrative as to how you got the photo from wolfa and how you know that wolfa granted gfdl. Thanks for working on this. Elf | Talk 03:20, 27 February 2006 (UTC)
