Survey Invite
editI'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take 5 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 15:36, 27 July 2017 (UTC)
Orphaned non-free image File:ConverseCollege-logo.jpg
editThanks for uploading File:ConverseCollege-logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:15, 24 June 2023 (UTC)
ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message
editHello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:40, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
Fifth Third Park rendering
editIn this change, you added File:Fifth Third Park rendering.jpg to the article Fifth Third Park. The page for that image file identifies you as the uploader of the image. It also says that the image was released by the developers
, and that The image was created and published by the same author who also holds the rights to the original object
. Does that mean that you are, or are employed by, one of the developers of Fifth Third Park? -- Pemilligan (talk) 00:38, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oh, I think I misinterpreted that. I'm not affiliated with the developers. Can that be changed? PegasusRacer28 (talk) 02:26, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
- I don't know. You could go the File:Fifth Third Park rendering.jpg page and give it a try. Pemilligan (talk) 03:46, 21 March 2024 (UTC)
