Slovakia

edit

Ahoj,

Yes, of course you are right but Slovakia didn't exist in the 19th century. Although I may not be sure even in it, reading your native wikipedia. As, according to the Slovak wiki, every historical person who was born, lived, or died today territory of Slovakia - was born, lived, or died in Slovakia, being ignored the simply historical fact that Slovakia didn't exist before the 20th century. Here, on English wiki, I would not like it to apply to those articles connecting with Slovakia an Hungary. But if you modified it from "Upper Hungary" to "today territory of Slovakia" it would also be O.K. to me.--Nmate (talk) 14:50, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

At first, I was speaking about language, not coutry, so your argument is completly wrong. Second, you are partly true with that place of birth and nationalities, but it depends on point of view of the author and also on authors of the references. Another thing: it is irrelevant what is going on with Slovak wikipedia in relation to our talk.--Pelex (talk) 20:52, 5 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
O.K., but I think our dispute is already resolved. Best wishes --Nmate (talk) 19:12, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Pelex,

Please familiarize yourself with HU-SK naming_convention--Nmate (talk) 20:00, 8 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I would obey this rule, but why it is so important for you and others to name everything in Slovakia also in Hungarian, especially when other nations doesn't do it that way? The example of Biele Karpaty (White Carpathians) and discusion therein is quite silly. The argument that, the area of the mountains was part of Hungarian Kingdom in the past is rather irelevant.--Pelex (talk) 19:12, 9 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Augustín Malár, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Slovak (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Geology of Slovakia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Granit. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
