- I'm not sure what you mean. You are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, but Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g.,
copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 14:29, 1 July 2021 (UTC)

Theroadislong (talk) 12:47, 2 July 2021 (UTC)Disambiguation link notification for July 13
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Wisconsin Northern Railroad, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cameron, Wisconsin. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

editUnattributed translations
editI have discovered BNSF Barstow Yard, created by you, is an unattributed translation of the article from deWiki [1]. I can also tell it is a machine translation, due to numerous glaring errors and idiosyncrasies that someone properly translating would catch (the use of the term "wagons", which is never used in American English, is a blatant giveaway). This is not permissible, as explained at Help:Translation#Avoid machine translations. If you want to translate an article from another wiki, there are ways of doing so, but the way you've gone about it is wrong and has created work for other editors such as myself who have to clean up after you. Not attributing a translation is also considered a copyright violation, per Wikipedia:Translation#License requirements. Trainsandotherthings (talk) 01:17, 19 September 2022 (UTC)
