Speedy deletion nomination of Throw That Boy Pussy

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Throw That Boy Pussy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Ruby Murray 17:38, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Fly Young Red requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

Metamodernism.com

edit

Hi, you should definitely do whatever you think is right. That said, you have me confused with a different user. The user you are looking at is "Esmeme," who is Luke Turner, co-editor of Notes on Metamodernism/Metamodernism.com with Timotheus Vermeulen and Robin van den Akker, two men I've never met. Whereas I've consistently tried to _broaden_ the sourcing of the metamodernism article to include cites that are not from Notes on Metamodernism/Metamodernism.com, "Esmeme" has done exactly what you've accused me of doing--trying to make every link on the page be from Notes on Metamodernism/Metamodernism.com. I have no idea how you justify saying that Notes on Metamodernism/Metamodernism.com is "being pushed by editor Festal82 to be included as a primary source"--I don't want it to be a primary source and neither my edits nor my "Talk" comments support that claim. In any case, I have no fear of what your SPA will find, I just can't see why "Esmeme" wasn't included on your list. Festal82 (talk) 17:56, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
